Stability of optimal transport on metric measure spaces

Abstract:In joint works with Zhuonan Zhu, we prove several quantitative stability results concerning optimal transport: quantitative stability of Kantorovich potentials on metric measure spaces with lower Ricci curvature bound, quantitative stability of optimal transport maps and quantitative stability of Wasserstein barycenter on Alexandrov spaces. Our proof, which employs a heat kernel-regularization technique, is of independent interest and it is new even in the smooth setting.
